Celebration of 73rd Republic Day of India at High Commission of India  (26th Jan. 2022)

73rd Republic Day of India was celebrated at High Commission of India, Dar es Salaam with traditional gaiety and patriotic fervour. High Commissioner Binaya Srikanta Pradhan unfurled the Indian national flag and read out Hon'ble President's Address in Hindi and English.Students of Indian school, Dar es Salaam sang beautiful patriotic songs. 200 guests from Indian diaspora, members and leaders of different community participated.To ensure that everyone get a chance to be a part of Republic Day event, the ceremony was also live streamed on High Commission's Facebook page.

(ii)To mark the occasion, a special supplement on India highlighting India-Tanzania relations, India's development partnership programme, India's achievements and Amrit Mahotsav was brought out by prominent English Daily, The Guardian.
